These Acers were planted 29 years ago and here you can see three varieties including Acer Palmatum Dissectum Atropurpureum.  We have 19 in total dotted around the garden.

Fred will do the first pruning 6 to 8 weeks after bud burst and then will prune once or twice after they break bud again.  Anything out of shape will be bought back into the desired form.

Fred’s Tip – Don’t worry if a late frost scorches them as they soon catch up.  They don’t like early morning sun or a north wind!
