Senior Retail Team
Working at the Model Village is about being approachable, knowledgeable and helpful. You’ll need the energy and positive outlook to be at your best whilst on your feet all day, helping customers get the very most from their visit.
This role involves:
Gift shop - working on busy retail counters, handling cash & credit card transactions, stocking up
Admission Kiosk - warm welcomes, selling admissions, handling e-tickets, groups & providing knowledgeable assistance as required
The role includes both weekday and weekend shifts. On weekend shifts (10 - 4 or 5pm) you would be the Senior person on duty, working with our Junior Team members. We provide full training and uniform.

Are you available to work a fixed, part time roster that will mean working mornings/afternoons Monday to Friday (minimum of 9 hours to approx of 16 hours) PLUS one Saturday AND one Sunday in every 8 week period

Are you available to work during school holidays and at weekends?


Junior Retail Team
Working at the Model Village is all about being friendly, helpful, and welcoming. You’ll be on your feet during your shift, meeting lots of visitors and helping them enjoy their day. A positive attitude and a smile are really important, especially on busy days! This is a great first job, giving you the chance to learn new skills in a friendly environment.
What you’ll be doing:
Gift Shop

Serving customers at the counter

Using the till to take cash and card payments

Restocking shelves and keeping the shop tidy
Admission Kiosk

Welcoming visitors when they arrive

Selling tickets and scanning e-tickets

Helping families and groups with questions

Most shifts are at weekends, with extra hours available during the school holidays, especially in summer. You’ll always be supported by a senior team member, and full training and a uniform are provided, so no experience is needed to start.
